AED
Cardiac Arrest is the biggest killer in the UK. Over 150,000 people die each year, but many could have been saved if a defibrillator was used quickly and efficiently. They are safe and easy to use. Learn to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), on this ½ day course. The syllabus also includes the recognition of cardiac arrest and CPR practice.


Emergency First Aid At Work
This course is an excellent basic first aid course which concentrates on life threatening situations such as; managing an unconscious patient, effective CPR, and the control of bleeding.

This is the course required in many workplaces. The syllabus required by the HSE includes:

First Aid At Work Re-qualifying Course
Candidates for this course must have a FAW certificate which is no more than 28 days out of date. All the subjects on the FAW course will be revised and practiced.


Annual Refresher
The HSE highly recommend all first aiders to do a refresher course every year to maintain high skill levels.
