Sea Survival
The one day RYA Sea Survival course is designed for all small craft users. It is well proven that people with appropriate training are more likely to survive in an emergency situation. Liferafts, the equipment they contain and survival techniques form a major part of the course. Other topics include the design of lifejackets, hypothermia and Search and Rescue techniques.
The course includes a two hour practical session in a pool. Bring your own wet weather gear and lifejacket in order to experience the problems of climbing into an inflated liferaft whilst fully kitted out.
Included in the course fee is the RYA Sea Survival Handbook and certificate.
