General First Aid
All the general first aid courses offered by Pin Mill Cruising are suitable, for work or home. Whatever the course the principle remains the same; to preserve life, protect the casualty from further harm and to promote their recovery. It sounds easy and much of it is common sense but the lifesaving skills require training and practice. Where better than on a first aid course.
Cardiac Arrest is the biggest killer in the UK. Over 150,000 people die each year, but many could have been saved if a defibrillator was used quickly and efficiently. They are safe and easy to use. Learn to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), on this ½ day course. The syllabus also includes the recognition of cardiac arrest and CPR practice.

Following the changes to HSE regulation it is now possible to include subjects to tailor the course to individual workplaces. We can include practice with an AED trainer for example, hypothermia for outside workers or drowning for those who work by the water.
First Aid At Work Requalifying Course
